Mystery of serial offender dumping animal carcasses in villages?

Residents in Broughton, Hampshire were left shocked and disturbed when dozens of dead animals were callously dumped outside a village shop. This incident marks the second sick attack targeting the area. The gruesome scene included bloodied carcasses strewn across the streets and pavements, with an eerie twist: the offenders had impaled an owl and kestrel on the door handles. To add to the horror, they smeared animal blood and guts over the windows.

I don’t believe I can show the original photographs here because based on my experience, Google AdSense finds any image of violence containing blood as being objectionable and unacceptable for Google AdSense and they respond by blocking ads on those pages and penalising the website owner.

Locals suspect that illegal poachers with links to international gambling syndicates are behind these macabre acts. The attacks serve as a threatening warning, urging people to stay away from their activities. In a previous incident, dead animals were dumped outside Awbridge Primary School, located about 10 miles from the village. The shocking scene included a headless deer, rabbits, pheasants, and hares, some of which were crushed in the middle of the road.

Farmers and landowners in the area are constantly trying to prevent these attacks, often putting themselves at risk. One farmer even confronted a pheasant poacher who reportedly opened fire on them. Despite their efforts, the poachers seem to be brazenly mocking the community, leaving behind a horrific display as a chilling reminder of their invincibility.

The Broughton Community Shop reported the recent incident to the police and requested residents to share CCTV footage from the High Street area. The community expressed shock and horror, labeling the attack as pure needless destruction of their beautiful world. Authorities are investigating, but the sinister motives behind these animal carcass dumpings remain a mystery.

Mike Hensman, the treasurer of the above-mentioned local volunteer-run shop said, “People say it’s a warning. I don’t know what it is…”

Hare coursing

Broughton is an affluent village of about 1000 residents. It’s close to Salisbury Plain which is a place known to be used by people involved in the cruel pastime of hare coursing. According to The Times there’s been a resurgence in the practice. It is illegal in the UK. Today some hare coursing events are streamed on the dark web for viewers sometimes as far afield as China for betting purposes.

Satanists

The Times also reports that Broughton is about 12 miles from Ramshaw where several sheep were stabbed to death. Cows were seriously injured also in an attack in 2019 believed to be associated with Satanists. The dead animals were spray-painted with occult symbols.
