This is an instance where human and dog are on equal terms and the human has made this decision out of love for his dog. They are both very elderly and they are both infirm but the elderly human has taken charge and he decided to give up his wheelchair to his dog because he is able to make the decision.
In doing so he has put himself and his dog on completely equal terms in respect of rights and status which is the way it should be. It is the way it should always be and when this happens across the world (and it may never happen to that extent) it will be a far better place not only for animals but for humans too.
