A young Bangladeshi woman said that she was treated worse than an animal when subjected to a virginity test in a London clinic. Her parents had forced her to take it in order to protect the family’s ‘honour’. She used the phrase “treated worse than an animal” totally normally but it is a phrase which starkly indicates the deplorable relationship between humankind and animals as it clearly states that humans treat animals badly. I detest this state of affairs.
