The Sunday Times has done some brilliant work in getting to the bottom of the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic which killed 7 million people worldwide. It either started in nature, specifically in the wet market at Wuhan where wild animals were cut up, or in the Wuhan laboratory (Wuhan Institute of Virology) where they were conducting biowarfare experiments using the coronavirus from bats obtained from a mineshaft in Mojiang, Yunnan province, China where people had died from symptoms similar to SARS.
The Sunday Times team have analysed a lot of documents and made a lot of enquiries and decided that the Chinese military were involved in using this novel bat coronavirus to try and create a biowarfare agent. This novel coronavirus could be used two ways: as a biowarfare agent or as a vaccine. Because the military were involved the information about this coronavirus and experiments were kept secret.
China has demonstrated a distinct lack of transparency in helping the West get to the bottom of the origin of the pandemic. They are hiding something. Does that not encourage one to believe that Covid-19 started in this Wuhan laboratory? I remember the West visiting China to get to the bottom of it and they were prevented from entering or questioning Wuhan laboratory scientists as I recall.
This is a very defensive attitude by the Chinese. The Times investigation paints a clearer picture. It’s ironic that the Wuhan laboratory was funded to a certain extent by the US government through a New York-based charity. The president of that charity was British-born. Did that person have a close connection with the Chinese?
The Sunday Times reports that the Wuhan laboratory was engaged in increasingly risky experiments on coronaviruses. It had gathered these coronaviruses from bat caves in southern China. Initially they were transparent about their activities and then in 2016 when they discovered a new type of coronavirus in the mineshaft mentioned above a lack of transparency developed.
They didn’t warn the world about people dying from symptoms similar to SARS (from these bats in the mineshaft). They didn’t warn the world that this appeared to be a new fatal virus which they’d discovered. This virus is now recognised as the only members of covered-19’s immediate family known to have existed pre-pandemic. The viruses were transported to the Wuhan Institute. The scientist worked on the viruses and the work was classified.
At that point the paper trail runs out. The classified program began. This is because, it is believed, that the work on the virus, as mentioned, was linked to the military which wanted to use it as a biowarfare weapon.
One American investigator said:
It has become increasingly clear that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was involved in the creation, promulgation and cover-up of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There is evidence that the researchers working on the experiments at the laboratory were taken to hospital with Covid-19 like symptoms in November 2019 which is a month before the West became aware of the pandemic.
And there is further evidence that the Institute had been working on a vaccine before the pandemic. This information came from interviews with scientists in Asia who have close relationships with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Prof Richard Ebright, of Rutgers University’s Waksman Institute of Microbiology is highly critical. He has described the Wuhan experiments as “by far the most reckless and dangerous research on coronaviruses or indeed at any virus known to have been undertaken at any time at any location”.
It has now been decided that the center of the initial outbreak of Covid-19 was close to the when laboratory rather than at the Wuhan wet market which had been believed.

My conclusion on reading The Times article is that evidence is gradually emerging despite the obstruction by the Chinese authorities that the Covid-19 pandemic started with a leak of this novel bat virus from the Wuhan laboratory while they were working on a highly dangerous military experiment to turn the virus into a military asset.
