This is a dwarf giraffe photographed in either Namibia or Uganda. The condition is a form of dwarfism called skeletal dysplasia. They say that the animal will live a normal lifespan because they have lived beyond one year of age. I don’t know how realistic that assessment is because dwarfism can carry many other secondary health issues.
