The dog’s owner said that their golden retriever had the job of protecting their apple trees from deer who enjoyed eating the apples but it turned out differently for this individual deer. They formed a friendship and began to play together. It is great to see. It is entirely instinctive. There appears to be no feelings about the fact that they are different species. They simply enjoy each other’s company and play was the next step. It took place on June 2020 at Wurtsboro, New York, USA

When I see these videos, I also see, in my mind, deer hunting which is very popular in the US. Hundreds of thousands are shot, some badly causing injury, for the entertainment of the sport hunter and it is all legal. It just seems very odd to me set against this video.
