An example of how an animal shelter can go badly wrong

The video summaries the issues nicely. It is about management or the lack of it. There has to be transparency and an open attitude in which scrutiny is ongoing. It appears that the previous manager played games and hid nasty details such as not telling staff that some dogs were essentially dangerous. It they had been adopted by a family with young children it could have ended in disaster. As it is two staff were badly injured. Some dogs and cats have lived in their cages for 2 years. Some rabbits spent their whole lives in a cage with no adopters seeing them. They were in a basement. And there were occasions when mass euthanasia took place for questionable reasons. It is extraordinary.
